I Finally Played FROGGER ’97 on PlayStation… It’s Rough

I have played plenty of Frogger over the years—but somehow, I had never played the 1997 Frogger reboot for the original PlayStation.

This time, I’m going in completely fresh to see how the simple arcade classic was transformed into a full 3D adventure. Unfortunately, it does not take long for the traffic, awkward controls, and questionable design choices to start taking their toll.

Come along as I play PlayStation Frogger for the very first time and discover whether this ambitious update can win me over—or leave me wishing the frog had stayed in the arcade.
