Fizz Creations has packed STREET FIGHTER II: Champion Edition into a tiny HDMI dongle—no separate console required. Plug it into your TV, connect the power, grab one of the two wireless controllers, and you’re ready to fight… at least, that’s the promise. In this video, I unbox the Fizz Creations STREET FIGHTER II Duel Plug & Play, get everything connected, and put it through its paces. How do the unusual controllers feel? How well does the game play? And does this console-free setup deliver a satisfying arcade experience—or is “plug and play” doing some heavy lifting? Let’s plug it in and find out! #fightinggames #retrogaming #fizz #genxgrownup @fizzcreations - SHOP https://genxgrownup.com/shopfizz http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv - CHAPTERS 00:00 SF2 PnP 01:25 Box & Contents 04:03 HDMI Brain 05:17 Real Manual 06:16 Controller Design 10:58 Power On 13:20 Ryu 14:55 Dhalsim 15:37 Blanka 16:57 Conclusion

The NeoGeo AES+ was shaping up to be one of the most exciting new pieces of retro hardware this year — but now fans are going to be waiting a whole lot longer. The hardware-accurate NeoGeo revival has been pushed all the way into September 2027, and we’re digging into what caused the major delay. Plus, GOG takes game preservation beyond the games themselves with printable classic PC big-box extras, Super Smash Bros. Melee reaches a huge decompilation milestone after years of work, and the new Metal Slug Ultimate Collection packs ten games together with online co-op. We’ve also got a major RPCS3 breakthrough that makes physical PS3 discs much more useful on PC, another surprising development in the never-ending Amico saga, a modern reimagining of Lara Croft’s original Tomb Raider adventure, and a compact 4:3 retro gaming monitor built with classic consoles in mind. It’s eight bits of retro gaming news, all packed into this week’s Bit By Bit! #NeoGeo #RetroGaming #SNK #GamePreservation #MetalSlug #TombRaider #ClassicGaming #BitByBit - LINKS NeoGeo AES+ Delayed - https://tinyurl.com/498wbpxe GOG Big-Box Preservation Extras - https://tinyurl.com/yc29phfs Super Smash Bros. After last week’s rough outing with Strategy X, I needed a palate cleanser—and Beamrider came highly recommended. More than 40 years after missing it the first time, I take Activision’s 1984 Atari 2600 shooter for a spin, discover why you can’t simply shoot everything in sight, and see whether this Intellivision-born classic earns its reputation. - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv

I picked up this nearly unused Radofin Tele-Sports Mini at the Long Island Retro Gaming Expo, mostly because it was impossible to resist the pure late-1970s charm of the thing. With 4 electronic action games, two unusual controllers, and even a PRO-AM OPTION, this is a great little snapshot of what home TV gaming looked like in 1977. In this video, I take a closer look at the hardware, the history behind Radofin, and what makes this strange little Pong-era time capsule so much fun to explore. card 12:14 Bentley - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv - CHAPTERS 00:00 Radofin Tele-Sports 01:57 Box Opening 03:55 Switch Box 04:40 Controllers 07:18 Manual 08:32 Light Clean-Up 10:35 Practice & Pro/Am 13:00 Two-Player Tennis 14:20 Two-Player Hockey 15:20 Two-Player Squash 16:17 Conclusion

A heavier focus on thriftting pickups this month on 12-inch vinyl and books/books-and-records, but of course, some great gaming finds, too! Some of these are just fun additions to the collection, but others may turn into full GenXGrownUp videos down the road — so let me know what catches your eye. #thrift #vintage #retrogaming #genxgrownup - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv - CHAPTERS 00:00 August Pick-Ups 02:05 12-Inch Vinyl 06:12 Book & Records 08:28 Books 12:16 What I Didn't Buy 14:15 Touch Me 14:52 Bank Shot Pool 15:43 MGA Handhelds 17:14 What's Next

New Wave Toys has packed six classic Golden Tee arcade games into a beautifully detailed one-sixth-scale RepliCade—but the Complete Bundle adds a full-size trackball controller. I compare the miniature and full-size experiences, including play on a television, to find out whether you need the entire bundle or if the Standard Edition is already enough. #retrogaming #miniature #arcade #genxgrownup @NewWaveToys - LINKS New Wave: https://newwavetoys.com/products/golden-tee-real-arcade-trak-ball-stick-bundle Plug-n-Play Model: https://youtu.be/_tipROKauPQ - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv - CHAPTERS 00:00 Mini Golden Tee 02:05 Box & Contents 06:47 Dot Matrix Display 08:02 RepliCade Tour 12:15 DMD Install 13:39 RepliCade Play 15:53 Full-Size Controller 17:36 TV Play 22:20 Conclusion
