VECTREX MINI Lead Manager, David Oghia Answers ALL Our QUESTIONS!

Jon sits down with Vectrex Lead Manager, David Oghia, to dig into the details of this forthcoming reproduction console. Remember 1982, the Vectrex is the console that made many gamers dream. With its look like a small arcade machine, its independent screen and above all the vector graphics, even 40 years later, the Vectrex is still great. #retrogaming #vectrex #genxgrownup - LINKS Kickstarter » https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1852390947/vectrex-mini Vectrex Site » https://vectrex.com Full Interview Podcast » https://pca.st/8izq2v4i - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 Welcome 01:25 Inspiration? 04:07 Gamescom 06:05 Non-CRT 08:25 Controller 10:16 Screen Overlays 11:38 The Games 14:55 Date & Price 16:33 Backer Add-Ons 20:30 Created by a Fan 20:41 Hardware 22:30 Vector Clock 23:32 Size 26:35 Comparison Plan 28:03 Farewell

VENTURE on Atari 2600 Shows What Had to Be LEFT BEHIND

Last week on Friday Plays, VENTURE on the ColecoVision showed just how much of the arcade game’s personality could make it home. But a lot of viewers told me something interesting: their version of VENTURE wasn’t on ColecoVision at all. It was on the Atari 2600. So in this video, I go back to VENTURE again — this time on older hardware, in a much more limited 4K cartridge conversion — to see how much of the adventure survived. It was never going to be a one-to-one match for the ColecoVision port, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still a real game here. I look at what made it home, what had to be left behind, and why this version still deserves a fair look. #retrogaming #atari #arcade #genxgrownup - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Fightbox » https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 - Intro

Vintage 1974 LEGO Payloader from Studio G!

In 1974, LEGO released this 27-piece Payloader set, and Jon got one for Christmas (to the best of his recollection). It remained in his collection for decades, but no longer complete or with the box. That is, until this one turned up at a local toy show and he was able to re-acquire it, add […]
