“Why do old people play bad games?” That’s a common question in comments, and while I disagree with the phrasing, I understand what’s being asked. Why, when games with so much more depth and audiovisual fidelity exist, do gamers in my demographic tend to still gravitate toward blocky old games from 30 & 40 years ago?
