This 1979 Baseball Game Was Built for TWO I Found a TWO-PLAYER Baseball Game from 1979 This 1979 Electronic Baseball Game STILL WORKS! Released in 1979, Entex Baseball 2 was built around something many electronic games of the era overlooked: playing with another person. One player bats while the other secretly selects pitches using a separate wired controller. I found this Sears-branded example at a local vintage toy shop, cleaned it up, figured out how it works, and played a complete game to see whether this nearly fifty-year-old tabletop baseball game still has some competition left in it. #retrogaming #handheld #baseball #genxgrownup - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Fightbox » https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 Baseball 2 01:00 Sears Sequel 01:45 Box & Contents 04:54 Hardware Tour 08:14 Cleanup 09:56 Power On 12:25 Two-Player 16:21 Conclusion

Shop Fightbox: https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox This week on Friday Plays, I take to the skies with Snoopy and the Red Baron for the Atari 2600. Released late in the console’s original life, this licensed Peanuts game looks surprisingly polished and turns Snoopy’s famous Flying Ace routine into a colorful dogfight filled with falling treats, risky pickups, and one very good idea Atari may have asked to carry the entire game. Thanks to regular viewer Miss Raven LaRue for the suggestion! #atari #retrogaming #snoopy - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Fightbox » https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com

The CULTIC live playthrough continues this Thursday! This week, we’re finishing off The Mining Town map and then heading straight into The Mine, because apparently the only thing worse than fighting cultists in a creepy town is following them underground where everything is darker, tighter, and probably full of things trying to kill us. Join the GXG crew as we keep blasting our way through CULTIC’s brutal retro FPS chaos, survive more cultist madness, and find out what horrors are waiting below the surface. Come hang out, chat, and help guide me through another night of old-school shooter mayhem! #CULTIC #BoomerShooter #RetroFPS #IndieGames #HorrorFPS #PCGaming #LiveGameplay #GenXGrownUp

Shop Fightbox: https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox After two straight weeks of Venture on Friday Plays, I thought I had a pretty good handle on how this arcade classic translated to home consoles. ColecoVision gave us the more faithful arcade-style version, and Atari 2600 showed how much of the idea could survive on much simpler hardware. But after those episodes, the comments kept coming in: “You need to try Venture on Intellivision.” So this week, the Summer of Venture continues with the Intellivision port — a version that may not be the most arcade-accurate, but might just be the one I had the most fun playing. - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Fightbox » https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com
