I’ve had my eye on Tomy’s 1982 PAC-MAN Magnetic Maze for years, and I finally found one at a retro convention. After I showed it in a thrift pickups video, many of you asked to see it in action—so I saved my very first play for the camera. With a tilting maze, a big yellow joystick, rolling PAC-MAN and ghost figures, and fruit that PAC-MAN picks up with the magnet on his head, this is one wonderfully strange take on an arcade classic. I have played plenty of Frogger over the years—but somehow, I had never played the 1997 Frogger reboot for the original PlayStation. This time, I’m going in completely fresh to see how the simple arcade classic was transformed into a full 3D adventure.
