In the early '80s a company called Suncom manufactured this unassuming little 9-pin joystick for the Atari 2600. It doesn't look like much, but with its solid steel shaft, ball-top, and low profile, the Slik Stik is one of the most accurate and durable third-party controllers available for the 2600 (and compatibles). Jon found this one at the Southern Fried Gaming Expo 2025 and picked it up on pedigree alone. Crackpots is an Atari 2600 game designed by Dan Kitchen and published by Activision in 1983. It was Kitchen's first game for Activision. In Crackpots, the player controls Potsy, a gardener. Potsy's Brooklyn building is being overrun by bugs trying to climb inside six windows.
