Elevator Action is a 1983 shooter platform video game developed and published by Taito for arcades. The player assumes the role of a secret agent infiltrating a 30-story building from the roof, then descending to ground level via elevators and stairways. Enemy agents emerge from closed doors and shoot at the player. The goal is to collect secret documents from specially marked rooms, then exit to a waiting getaway car. It runs on the Taito SJ System arcade system. The game was a critical success and was the top-grossing game on the Japanese arcade charts for three months in late 1983. It has been ported to a variety of home systems and appeared on Taito compilations. An arcade sequel, Elevator Action Returns, was released in 1994. #retrogaming #arcade #miniature #genxgrownup @NumskullGames - SHOP Elevator Action » https://amzn.to/4rJH4pq Quarter Arcades Store » https://amzn.to/4rEbNEm http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Numskull Facebook Group » https://genxgrownup.com/fbqa G'AIM'E Time Crisis » http://genxgrownup.com/gaime King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 Elevator Action 01:06 Box & Contents 02:40 Hardware Tour 06:52 Power On 07:55 Game One 10:30 Game Two 14:55 Summary
