Shop AISLPC: https://genxgrownup.com/AISLPC What if you want a retro gaming handheld without making it your next project? The AISLPC RG52 Mini costs about a hundred bucks—but how much can it do with its pre-installed software loadout? Instead of replacing the firmware and building my own game library, I’m exploring what this Linux-based handheld offers with its stock setup. We’ll check out the controls, menus, included games, built-in Wi-Fi download service, and some surprisingly capable PlayStation Portable emulation. Then we’ll connect it to a TV for big-screen play. With a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, dual analog sticks, Hall effect triggers, and a 5,000mAh battery, there’s plenty here on paper. But is it a good fit for someone who just wants to turn it on and PLAY? Please note: the included commercial game ROMs and built-in download service are not a licensed game collection. What would you play first—PSP games or some older favorites? Let us know in the comments! - SHOP ? Atari has brought back the 2600 and 7800, and now there’s an Intellivision Sprint. So why not complete the collection with a ColecoVision+? I’d love a modern console that plays my original ColecoVision cartridges. But the more I think about what Atari could actually offer alongside one, the more complicated that dream becomes. Let’s look at the games, the licenses, and what “Plus” would mean for someone starting without a shelf full of cartridges. Would you buy a ColecoVision+? Let me know what you’d expect it to include - or at least be available to purchase. #retrogaming #atari #vintage #genxgrownup @atari - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv - CHAPTERS 00:00 ColecoVision Plus 01:15 Classic Console Poetry 01:58 After the Hardware 03:08 Imagine an Acquisition 04:06 IP Licenses 04:40 Flashback Precedent 06:07 How Far Might Atari Go? 07:05 Split Conversation 07:57 Aftermarket Impact 09:10 Flashback & Homebrew 10:00 What Do You Want?
