BurgerTime has long been considered one of the best arcade conversions available for the ColecoVision, but after spending some time with it on Friday Plays, I discovered something I wasn’t expecting.
Not only does this home version faithfully recreate the classic Data East arcade game, but in some ways it may actually control better than the original. The movement feels precise, the ladder navigation is predictable, and the overall experience is remarkably polished for a game released over 40 years ago.
