Just as Mattel had formed M Network to publish software for the Atari VCS, Atari realized it could leverage its properties and publish to other platforms, too. Thus was born Atarisoft. One high-profile title ported to their main competitor’s platform was Pac-Man for the Mattel Intellivision – and as you’ll see, it just might have backfired.
