ULTIMATE Atari 2600 Game List – ALL the TOP-RANKED Cartridges!

This cut is missing Montezuma's Revenge. Need to fix & re-upload. What are the best games to play on your Atari 2600? That's a big question that can be pretty tough to answer, but using my own past ranking videos as a guide, I'm gonna give it a shot. Over the past few years I've been steadily working my way through every game released for the Atari VCS and ranking them from 'S' for 'superb' all the down to 'F' for pbpbbptttt. And while I haven't yet MADE it through every game, across more than a dozen videos and evaluating hundreds of cartridges, we're making good progress. #atari #retrogaming #ranked #genxgrownup - LINKS Atari 1977 » https://youtu.be/wYCfURUbbtQ Activision A » https://youtu.be/hP-KqIfzlHQ Activision B » https://youtu.be/g43F5ui4v0w Imagic » https://youtu.be/DOJ4di_W0KA Parker Brothers » https://youtu.be/fKFjwZ7ec2E Coleco » https://youtu.be/BmY4tgUq97E Adults-Only » https://youtu.be/XjJ2gqZNpls 20th Century Fox » https://youtu.be/v422sT9cOsY M Network » https://youtu.be/x4NXxoKd6_o US Games » https://youtu.be/tyKoKuAjVDE Atari 1978 » https://youtu.be/o-UB7aWKjsU Atari 1979 » https://youtu.be/5iXNMzRciwM Atari 1980 » https://youtu.be/XZIRZvwJ_NU Atari 1981 » https://youtu.be/ZlBRbsCsRbI - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 Best Atari Games? 01:18 Adventure 03:01 Alien 03:59 Asteroids 05:06 Astroblast 06:10 Bowling 07:09 Breakout 07:59 Cosmic Ark 08:57 Crackpots 09:30 Demon Attack 10:56 Frogger II Threedeep! 11:48 Frostbite 12:34 H.E.R.O. 13:07 Kaboom! 14:07 Megamania 14:44 Missile Command 15:53 Montezuma's Revenge 16:53 Mouse Trap 18:00 Pitfall! 18:36 Q*Bert 19:41 Roc'N Rope 21:08 Space Invaders 22:22 Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back 23:34 Starmaster 24:17 Superman 26:10 Turmoil 27:24 Summary

ULTIMATE WIZARD for Commodore 64 | Jumpman-Style Platforming Goodness!

Wizard is a video game developed for the Commodore 64 written by Sean A. Moore and Steve Luedders-Dieckbrader for Progressive Peripherals and Software (PP&S) out of Denver, Colorado in 1984. Each level contains keys, and the object is for Wilfrid the Wizard to get each key to move on to the next location. Each level requires a different spell to find the key, and every key found gives Wilfrid a finite number of times he can cast the spell. Some spells cast projectiles, which can either kill or freeze enemies, while some teleport Wilfrid around, either by turning him to a non-corporeal "shadow" or by instantly moving him to his starting point. The player character, Wilfrid, is a wizard in purple robes, and his enemies include witches, knights, giant insects, and other various monsters. Craig Smith and Aaron Hightower teamed up to make an improved construction set in their homes in North Richland Hills, Texas. They communicated with Sean and Steve to understand the memory layout for the levels and then set out to create an advanced construction set better than the one included with the original game. Among other things, their construction set included the ability to create "treasure matrices" that allowed the user to create special effects similar to the ones seen in the main levels. The original set had remnants in its code alluding to features that had been disabled, likely due to their instability or lack of documentation. PP&S took the code from Craig and Aaron and released it commercially in a package called the Wizard Expansion Set. This add-on pack also included 50 new levels from a competition held by the company specifically for the expansion; none of the new levels had any advanced features because of the limitations of the original construction set. Electronic Arts, including Paul Reiche III, used the Construction set created by Aaron and Craig to create a new set of levels. The Construction Set was also included by EA, as were a combination of levels from the original game and from the expansion pack, albeit in a different order from the original PP&S releases. The Ultimate Wizard version also featured some changes to existing levels to increase their difficulty, as well as different sprites for some of the game's monsters. #retrogaming #c64 #c64games #genxgrownup - LINKS (relevant links mentioned in video) - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Numskull Facebook Group » https://genxgrownup.com/fbqa G'AIM'E Time Crisis » http://genxgrownup.com/gaime King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS
