TrimUI Smart Pro S: BIG Glow-Up! + More Retro News!

? This week on Bit By Bit, we’re looking at the TrimUI Smart Pro S and why it’s being called a massive step up from the original. Faster internals, a much-improved D-pad, and even active cooling?! If you’ve been hunting for a sub-$100-ish handheld that feels like a legit “Version 2.0,” this one’s worth a closer look. ?? ? Then we detour into pure maker madness: somebody built a mini PC inside a Red Bull can (yes, really) using a Raspberry Pi 5—loaded up for retro goodness and running straight into a front-end for classics like Pac-Man and more. Absolute gremlin energy. ?? ?? And finally, we hit a nostalgia nerve with a list of Atari games with serious replay value—the kind of titles you can fire up for “just five minutes” and suddenly it’s 2AM. (Asteroids, Missile Command, Yars’ Revenge… you know the deal.) ? ? Question of the week: What’s YOUR most replayable Atari game—and would you daily-drive the Smart Pro S over the original? ? Like, ? subscribe, and share this with a fellow retro addict! #BitByBit #RetroGaming #TrimUI #SmartProS #RetroHandheld #HandheldGaming #Emulation #LinuxGaming #RaspberryPi5 #Recalbox #MiniPC #DIYBuild #3DPrinting #Atari #Atari2600 #GamingNews - LINKS TrimUI Smart Pro S - https://tinyurl.com/mvbx7d9r 5 Worst Handheld Systems - https://tinyurl.com/ybf4z49b Red Bull Mini PC - https://tinyurl.com/ya5d6m5n 1541 PC - https://tinyurl.com/2p9n69ms 10 Best Atari Games With High Replay Value - https://tinyurl.com/2x9ztc3v - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Keys of Fury » https://keysoffury.com G'AIM'E Time Crisis » http://genxgrownup.com/gaime King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 - Intro 00:34 - TrimUI Smart Pro S 04:05 - 5 Worst Handheld Systems 06:32 - Red Bull Mini PC 08:20 - 1541 PC 10:33 - 10 Best Atari Games With High Replay Value

Atari 2600’s CHOPPER COMMAND | Activision’s DEFENDER Knock-Off?

Chopper Command is a horizontally scrolling shooter video game released by Activision for the Atari 2600 in June 1982. It was written by Bob Whitehead. The player flies a helicopter left and right over a scrolling, wraparound landscape, shooting down enemy airplanes to protect a convoy of trucks below. In Chopper Command, the player controls a military helicopter in a desert scenario protecting a convoy of trucks. The goal is to destroy all enemy fighter jets and helicopters that attack the player's helicopter and the friendly trucks traveling below, ending the current wave. The game ends when the player loses all of his or her lives or reaches 999,999 points. A radar, called a Long Range Scanner in the instruction manual, shows all enemies, including those not visible on the main screen, similar to Defender . The player's helicopter is destroyed if it collides with an enemy aircraft or a truck (which destroys the truck as well) or is shot by an enemy. Each enemy bullet splits in two, one going up and one going down. Using the "A" difficulty level results in a slower player shot. Each enemy helicopter is 100 points and each enemy jet is 200 points. After each wave, bonus points are awarded for remaining trucks. A player who achieved 10,000 points could send in a photo of the TV screen and receive a "Chopper Commandos" patch. #atari #retrogaming #activision #genxgrownup - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Keys of Fury » https://keysoffury.com King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com
