Atari 2600 Basketball | Early Rubber Band AI in ACTION!

Basketball is a sports video game programmed by Alan Miller for the Atari Video Computer System (later renamed to the Atari 2600) and published by Atari, Inc. in 1978. The cartridge presents a game of one-on-one basketball and can be played by one or two players, one of the few early VCS titles to have a single-player mode with an AI-controlled opponent. Miller wrote a version of Basketball for Atari 8-bit computers with improved graphics, published in 1979. That same year, an arcade version similar to the computer port was released by Atari, but in black and white. #atari #retrogaming #basketball #genxgrownup - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com

Atari 2600 DEADLY DUCK from 20th Century Fox | BROKEN in the BEST Possible Way!

Cranky crabs are attempting to get the ducks out of their ponds. The crabs fly in the air while throwing bricks and bombs at the ducks. To fight back, the ducks are armed with a bill that is also a gun barrel that shoots a limitless supply of bullets straight up.[5] Deadly Duck is fixed shooter game for the Atari 2600 released on January 20, 1982, in North America. It was designed by Ed Hodapp for Sirius Software and published by 20th Century Fox Games. It was later ported, by Jeremy Jones, to the VIC-20. The player starts with four lives and a bonus life is awarded when all eight crabs in a level have been shot. If the player is hit by a brick, a life is lost. When bricks land at the bottom of the play area they impede player movement for a temporary period. #atari #retrogaming #genxgrownup - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS

The player uses fire fighting equipment in an attempt to extinguish the fire in a tall building and rescue the occupant. The player moves a fire fighter around a non-scrolling screen to spray water on fires in a building, the size of which may vary between levels depending on options selected by the player. If the fire rises high enough, the person will wait on the roof until the fire burns itself out. At any time, the player can extend a ladder from a fire truck to rescue the person from the building so long as no fire exists on that floor. #atari #retrogaming #fridayplays #genxgrownup - LINKS Wikipedia » https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_Fighter_(video_game) - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com
