Stealth is a pseudo-3D rail shooter designed by Tracy Lagrone and Richard Sansom published in 1984 by Broderbund for the Atari 8-bit computers and Commodore 64. The player's mission in Stealth is to pilot a low-level bomber-fighter ship to infiltrate enemy territory and travel a distance of 10,000 miles to reach and destroy the Black Tower (enemy citadel). The ship uses pulse energy for power, so the player must keep an eye on the fuel supply in addition to avoiding obstacles and shooting enemies. Energy fields are randomly scattered around the planet. The yellow ones contain fields of positive energy that can be used to refuel the player's ship. On the other hand, there are also red, negative energy fields that will drain the ship of energy. On the way to the Black Tower, the player has to watch out for enemy bunkers, tanks, rockets, reconnaissance planes and fighters. Additionally, the player must destroy the radar towers, because a failed attempt to destroy them automatically triggers the launch of a homing missile. The game has five levels, and each successive level is much more difficult. #atari #retrogaming #vintage #genxgrownup - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com

CAVEMAN is a color tabletop electronic game released by the Japanese toy company TOMY in 1982. A prehistoric caveman must steal eggs from a fire-breathing dinosaur while avoiding flying dragons and volcanic lava. In each level of the game you must collect 8 eggs to advance to the next level. To steal an egg laid by the dinosaur move the caveman to the egg. After reaching the egg, the caveman must wait until it blinks before he can carry it back to the cave. If an egg is not taken away within 8 seconds, the egg will hatch into a baby dinosaur and escape. The first egg retrieved is placed at the entrance of the cave. When the caveman brings a second egg, the first one moves into the cave for 50 points. When a total of eight eggs have been put into the cave, 200 bonus points are added to the score, and the game advances to the next level. The dinosaur moves his head at random. The movements are slow in the amateur (AMA) game and faster in the professional (PRO) game. If the caveman approaches when the dinosaur is breathing fire, the caveman will lose one life. The caveman can temporarily knock out the dinosaur if he hits it with the axe when it's standing upright, earning the caveman 30 additional points and time to safely steal the egg. Dragons fly overhead looking to steal eggs from the entrance of the cave. In the amateur (AMA) game there is only one dragon, while the professional (PRO) game has two. If there is an egg at the entrance of the cave the dragon may swoop down to take the egg away, however a dragon can not steal an egg if the caveman is at the entrance guarding the egg. A dragon can be brought down before it passes over the entrance of the cave by a direct hit with the stone axe, scoring 10 points. At higher levels of the game a volcano erupts shooting hot lava into the air. When the lava hits the caveman on the head, he dies, but he can safely pass by lava that falls below his head. #retrogaming #vintage #thrift #genxgrownup - SHOP Flarp Noise Putty » https://amz.cx/3MgT http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 Tron to Caveman 01:49 First Look 02:35 Initial Test 03:37 Magic Paste 05:48 Scrub & 2nd Test 07:15 Cleanup 11:03 Dismantling 11:50 Interior Blowout 12:54 Hardware Tour 14:21 Power On 19:50 PRO Mode 20:00 Summary
