Shop Fightbox: https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox Released in 1983, the Bentley Compu-Vision arrived at a very strange moment in video game history. By then, the industry had already moved beyond simple Pong-style systems and into cartridge-based consoles like the Atari 2600 and ColecoVision, making the Compu-Vision feel almost like a throwback the moment it hit store shelves. Despite the futuristic name and sleek woodgrain styling, this was still a dedicated first-generation “Pong clone” console, featuring built-in paddle games like Tennis, Soccer, Squash, and Solo Handball. In this video, we’re going to clean up this forgotten piece of early ’80s gaming history, see if it still works more than 40 years later, and put it through its paces on a modern display. Was the Bentley Compu-Vision truly “too little, too late” for 1983, or is there still some fun hidden inside this late-era Pong machine? Let’s hook it up and find out. - SHOP http://genxgrownup.com/amazon http://GenXGrownUp.com/merch - PODCAST http://GenXGrownUp.com/pod - SUPPORT US https://patreon.com/genxgrownup - WEB & SOCIAL http://GenXGrownUp.com/discord https://twitch.tv/genxgrownup http://fb.me/GenXGrownUp https://bsky.app/profile/genxgrownup.com https://www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup https://www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ http://GenXGrownUp.com - SPONSORS Fightbox » https://genxgrownup.com/fightbox King of Nerds » http://kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » http://www.orderofcosmicchampions.com - CHAPTERS 00:00 1983 Compu-Vision 01:45 Box & Contents 04:52 Manual 06:02 Hardware Tour 07:38 Cleanup 10:35 Power On 13:20 Game Samples 18:18 Summary
