This 2005 Excalibur Space Invaders Mini Arcade looked too cool to leave behind at a toy show — even if I wasn’t completely sure it worked.

Turns out, it only partially works.

So today I’m cleaning it up, testing it, and trying to figure out whether this little tabletop arcade can be rescued. It has the look, it has the charm, and it definitely has a problem. But can I bring this broken invader back to life?
